cFDP Training Kit

Mantel's canine freeze-dried plasma (cFDP) training kit is a specialized medical training tool developed to prepare personnel, particularly those in military or field settings, for administering plasma transfusions to dogs in emergency situations. These kits are designed to simulate real-world conditions, allowing for hands-on practice in environments where traditional blood products may not be readily available.

Key Features and Components

Canine Freeze-Dried Plasma Simulant : The core component is freeze-dried canine plasma simulant, which is a mixture of Whey protein and lemon drink mix. This mixture once reconstituted it will become the equivalent for 250 mL of simulated plasma.

Sterile Reconstitution Materials: Each kit includes 250 mL of sterile water for reconstituting.

Administration Equipment: The kits come equipped with necessary medical tools such as IV administration sets and Adapter for reconstitution.
